The Old University, Heidelberg, Germany
The University of Heidelberg, founded in 1386, is the oldest university in Germany. This building was built in 1712 – 35 and now houses a museum and concert hall. In addition, the old student prisons covered in graffiti can be seen. I'm not sure why a university needs a prison or why students were sent there! :-) My great-great-grandfather went to school here and hopefully he stayed out of jail.
