Schwetzingen Palace, Schwetzingen, Germany
This palace was never completed and is considered small by palace standards, even though it is bigger than my high school. It was meant only as a summer residence, hunting lodge, and a stopping point between the main castles in Heidelberg and Mannheim. Because it was so small, it lacked the reception rooms needed for court so these were added in large wings to each side. The gardens were completed magnificently and dwarf the palace.
