Jesuit Church, Heidelberg, Germany
The Jesuit Church is the main Catholic church in the old town. The Baroque façade is made from local sandstone and the interior is beautiful in its simplicity – all white with minimal gold leaf. The altar features a painting of Mary ascending into heaven with the Holy Spirit above by Andreas Müller and Ferdinand Keller in 1871.
