Speicherstadt, Hamburg, Germany
The Warehouse District or Speicherstadt was built from 1883 – 1927 in the Gothic Revival style. It was used as a customs-free trading center. Now it is undergoing redevelopment and is the home of shops, restaurants, museums and theaters. They offer boat tours of the area.
