Ruprecht Building and Ladies Building, Heidelberg Castle, Germany
The Ruprecht Building was named for King Ruprecht I (ruled 1400-1410). It is one of the oldest buildings in the castle and now houses art and historical exhibits. My favorite part was the angels over the door. Next to this building is what remains of the Ladies Building. It had the King’s feasting hall on the first floor and the residence of the ladies in waiting on upper floors which are now mostly gone.
