Church of the Holy Spirit, Heidelberg, Germany
Heiliggeist or the Church of the Holy Spirit is the most famous church in Heidelberg. It has dominated the skyline and the market square since being built in late Gothic style in 1398 - 1544. Interestingly enough the church was used by both Protestants and Catholics simultaneously with a partitioning wall down the middle so neither would disturb the services of the other.
