Manse from Grube, Schleswig-Holstein Open Air Museum, Molfsee, Germany
Built in May of 1569, it is the oldest farmhouse in the area. It originally served as the pastor’s home and contained a beautifully carved high-backed bench. Eventually it became the parish barn. We weren’t sure if the little bird we saw was making a nest in the thatched roof or taking part of the roof for a nest elsewhere.
