We got to watch them make candy at the Bonbonkocherei.  It starts by heating the sugar and other ingredients in a large kettle.  They pour it out and work it with their hands until it is like taffy.  Then they add flavors and put it through the machine with the steel rolling forms that cut the candy.  What a fun place!  To see my best photos of Germany, please visit the Germany section of my portfolio
